In recent years Lindsay Lohan has become famous for her party girl antics, rather than for her acting ability (Mean Girls seems like forever ago, doesn’t it?) – but is that about to change?
Lindsay now clams that she has finally changed her ways, insisting that she no longer enjoys going out and that she’s transformed into a homebody,
“I went out, actually, a few months ago with a friend and I was so uncomfortable,” Lindsay has said on The Today Show in the States. “Not because I felt tempted, just because it was just the same thing that it always was before. And it just wasn't fun for me. I've become more of a homebody. And I like that.”
I will not let anyone down
Lindsay also confirmed that she WILL play Elizabeth Taylor in a new biopic, and she plans to keep on the straight and narrow after years of well-documented addiction isssues and legal troubles so that filmmakers are less reluctant to hire her in the future.
“We start production soon,” Li-Lo confirms. “I've been doing tons of research. But I've always kind of researched her. She's always been a fascinating woman to me. So I'm really honored. And I will not let anyone down, especially myself.
“I could see where it could be scary for people to invest in me,” the 24-year-old admits, “And I don't want people to have that reason to be scared anymore. I'm gonna do what I'm supposed to do, and enjoy doing it, and do it as best as I can.”
We’ve heard Lindsay talk like this before, but this time we really do hope that she can get her life and career back on track.

Though he maybe a talented singer, dancer and performer Matthew Morrison is obviously a liar.
He’s dared to insinuate that brainy Kelly Brook could be in any way stupid. In an interview this week he's said:
'I once went out with a Brit. I didn’t realise she was such tabloid fodder.'
'It was Kelly Brook... she’s not exactly the brightest bulb. We only went on one date.'
Matthew did indeed go on a date with Kelly back in 2010 during the World Cup, before she found love with rugby star Thom Evans, but we’re guessing he must've got her confused with another Brit because no one could think she’s stupid, right? RIGHT?!

Hmm, yet again Madonna has astounded us by managing to turn back the clock and look absolutely flawless on the front of her latest single cover.
The single ‘Girl Gone Wild’ is the second single from her new album MDNA, which will be out worldwide on March 26.
Her previous single was ‘ Give Me All Your Luvin’, which you will all remember from her Super Bowl half time show - you know the one that was twelve minutes long, involved lots of acrobatics and saw MIA sticking up her middle finger as Nicki Minaj danced about. Yeah, that’s the one.
So far there isn’t a video for this latest single, although it was reportedly filmed last month. All we have at the moment is this pic of Madge in her undies with a feather boa around her. Standard. Our mum is always doing that too.
Anyway there are two things we would like to point out, firstly isn’t Girls Gone Wild that show in America where girls get their boobs out? Well yes it is (which is probably why the franchise’s creator, Joe Francis, is threatening legal action).
Secondly, she is not a girl but a woman. But more importantly, she just looks so ridiculously airbrushed it’s a joke.
What do you lot think, is the old bird looking good? Also, any thoughts on the single? Listen to it HERE.

While Russell Brand has been pictured gallivanting around town with his new girlfriend, Katy Perry has managed to keep a dignified silence.
If we were in her position we’d probably give our soon-to-be ex-hubby a massive smack around the chops for moving on so soon and rubbing it in our face, but Katy has gone one better than that.
The 27-year-old singer is virtually unrecognisable (we’re not sure if that’s a good thing) as she smoulders (and we don’t use that word lightly, she really is smouldering) on the cover of the latest issue of Interview magazine.
Wow, she looks blooming amazing!

RIHANNA caused a mess at the Brit Awards when she got involved in a paint fight.
The Bajan beauty performed to a backdrop of dancers inside a clear cage plastering it with bright colours - before getting stuck in herself.
She looked BOOT-iful in Timberland boots as she pranced around the stage during the performance of We Found Love.
While many would fail to pull off the yellow trucker footwear, the 24-year-old sizzled as she got the crowd on their feet.
The songbird, who donned a curly blonde wig, jazzed up the boots with barely-there shorts and fishnets during the up-tempo track.
Earlied on the evening she took the prize for Best International Artist for the second year running.
And she dedicated her gong to her army of fans.
She said: "At times when I feel misunderstood, my fans remind me that it's OK to be myself."

MEGAN Fox's movie career may be on the wane, but she's still top drawer in a bikini.
The actress returned to what she does best on holiday in Hawaii — wandering around on the sand in a skimpy two-piece.
She gave fellow tourists an eyeful of her celebrated physique on the island of Kona where she is holidaying with hubby Brian Austin Green.
Parading her figure in a mismatched bikini, the axed Transformers star even switched her top to offer admirers a change of scenery.
Megan took a dip in the sea with actor Brian — who she married in 2010 — and dried off by strolling on the beach in the hot sun.
She sensibly donned a giant sun hat to keep the damaging UV rays off her pretty face after bending her supple frame backwards as she clung to Brian in the sea.
The Hollywood beauty's success on the big screen has dipped since she fell out with Transformers director Michael Bay after comparing him to Hitler.
Their row prompted her to quit the franchise, paving the way for British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to take her place.
And the actress has confessed she's failed to set Tinseltown alight with her acting skills.
She said: "I'm totally aware that I've never given anyone a reason to praise me for my acting talents.
"So to sit here and complain, 'Why don't people recognise me as an actress?' would be outrageous.
"It's my responsibility to prove that they should."
Megan's movies since the Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen drama — Jennifer's Body, Jonah Hex and Passion Play — have all bombed at the box office.
She'll be hoping ensemble comedy Friends With Kids and Knocked Up sequel This Is 40 fare better this year.

Amy Childs and Harry Derbidge have been lined up to front a new show on Channel 5, which is being dubbed ‘The Simpleton Life.’
The former TOWIE stars will follow in Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie’s footsteps in a British remake of hit reality TV show, The Simple Life.
A source told The Sun:
“Amy and Harry are not exactly known for their ability to do everyday tasks so it's a car crash waiting to happen.
“In fairness, they are quite funny as a duo and bosses are hoping their daft chemistry will keep people entertained.”
Cameras will follow the Essex cousins as they get their hands dirty completing various tasks.
Will you be watching?

It’s no secret that Adele is totally loved up with her man Simon Konecki, but if rumours are true, things could be about to get a whole lot more serious. Sources have told The Daily Star that Simon is considering proposing to Adele on her 24th birthday in May!
“They’ve spoken about their future plans, how they want to buy a huge house in the country and have two or three kids,” says the friend. “Simon is so smitten that he’s also talked about popping the question as soon as her birthday in May. It falls over the bank holiday weekend so he may plan a trip away and do it then.” There’s one small problem though – this source is kinda ruining the surprise if that’s the case…
“He knows she’s the one and Simon’s pals have never seen him so happy. He’s like a different person.” It seems like Adele feels exactly the same way, apparently calling him “her ‘soulmate’”. Another friend says, “She said how she felt like she was ‘living a dream’. And she just kept gushing about this being the best relationship she had ever been in.” Judging by her songs, that wouldn’t be too hard, but we’re happy for her all the same!
But what will Adele write about if she is happily married? According to the insider, “her next album would be about falling in love and hopefully settling down after all the heartbreak. She joked that it would probably be a flop as everyone would stick their fingers down their throat but she can’t wait to write new tracks about how happy and loved-up she is feeling right now.”
Well, if Adele’s happy, we’re happy. That is unless we’ve just been dumped when this new romantically soppy record comes out… in which case we guess we’ll just have to revert to listening to ‘Someone Like You’ and crying a lot, like this Saturday Night Live sketch. Not that we’ve done that or anything.

NICOLE Scherzinger makes sure her work trip to London doesn't go unnoticed – partying into the wee hours.
The singer celebrated her sell-out show at the Hammersmith Apollo with a shindig at Boujis nightclub in the capital.
However, her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton was nowhere to be seen as she partied through the night with her entourage.
Ignoring the sub-zero temperatures, Nicole put style ahead of cosiness as she hit town in a glittery black jumpsuit.
She didn't even bother with a snug jacket as she arrived at the venue.
The US singer accessorised her eye-catching clobber with heels and an impressive pair of pointy earrings.
presence, the couple are very much back on after splitting in October.
Following her gig in Dublin on Thursday, the pair caught a private jet to Monaco and spent two days holed up at a five-star hotel.
A source said: "They looked so happy, it was sweet.
"They are taking things slowly and trying to avoid the same mistakes.
"They're making sure they get every moment they can together."
Nicole and Lewis blamed their break-up – after three years together – on their hectic work schedules.

You can always count on London Fashion Week to glam’ up a dull February, can’t you? And this year, it was no different. Victoria Beckham raised the bar high on Friday night when she held a little soiree at Harvey Nicholls to launch her new collection. And Stella McCartney was responsible for possibly the most star-studded-slash-boozy event of the weekend, by holding a rather swanky dinner to show off her new eveningwear line.
Of course there was no skimping on the guest list – with Stella’s pals Kate Moss and Rihanna showing up to get the party started. And get the party started, they did (with Rih’ almost flashing her boobs in the process)…
The S&M singer was clearly on great form - taking sexy pics of her gal pals and tweeting the evidence of their evening on Twitter (well all do it Rih, don’t worry), while Kate Moss got a little camera shy and tried to avoid the photo (but actually it just looks like she’s had a few vinos). We would have quite liked to have been a fly on the wall during that champagne-fuelled conversation though, that's for sure…
Others at the fancy meal were Jamie Hince (there to help Kate get home, probs), Twiggy and the pretty Alexa Chung.
But we hope Rihanna didn’t get too wasted last night, because she’s in town for The Brit Awards on Tuesday, where she is expected to perform. That doesn’t mean she can’t enjoy herself at the after-parties of course… It’s clearly going to be a wild week for Rih-Rih.

THE cast of hit show Glee have paid moving tribute to tragic star Whitney Houston with a tear-jerking rendition of I Will Always Love You.
Sung by Mercedes (Amber Riley), the ballad forms part of a special Valentine's episode where Glee Club members are tasked with performing the world's greatest love songs.
As one third of Season 3's biggest love triangle, Mercedes belts out the soulful classic to current boyfriend Shane, would-be man Sam and the rest of the Glee Club.
Both men are left in tears — and you'll be hard-pushed to stay dry-eyed — as the song's finale moves to the McKinley High stage and Mercedes sings just for Sam while dressed in a floor-length red satin gown.
Show bosses planned the song's inclusion in the episode months ago and it is only by tragic coincidence it aired just days after Whitney's untimely death aged 48.
The clip has struck a chord with Gleeks and Whitney fans alike — over 600,000 people have viewed the clip on YouTube and it was the most shared video in the world yesterday as people posted the tribute on Facebook and Twitter.
I Will Always Love You — from hit film The Bodyguard — was Whitney's biggest chart success, shifting over four million copies in America alone upon release in 1992.
Dreamgirls star Jennifer Hudson also performed the song at last Sunday's Grammy Awards — just one day after Whitney was found dead in the bath at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
But fans seem to prefer Amber Riley's version.
YouTube user Wallamindiller commented: "This was way better than Jennifer Hudson's tribute to Whitney at the Grammy's. Just sayin'." His is the top comment attached to the clip with over 1100 Likes.
Beeasybek10 loved the Glee tribute too, gushing: "Someone just go ahead and give Amber a record deal."

DANIEL Radcliffe must have had a few squeaky bum moments filming his scary movie The Woman In Black.
But the biggest fright didn't occur on set – it was meeting his girlfriend's folks for the first time.
The actor recently took his missus Rosie Coker's parents to lunch.
Speaking on tonight's Graham Norton Show, he reveals: "It was a uniquely nerve-wracking experience. She wasn't there. It was lovely but at the end of it I did have to ask, 'Have I passed?'
"We are still going out so I guess it was all OK."
He must have got on pretty well with her old man – he's already borrowing his jumpers.

Most little girls dream of being a princess one day. Of wearing a pretty Pink frock and floating around looking all princess-like. Little girls (and older women) still harbouring that dream, look away now. This sight may make you want to cry and stomp your feet.
Michelle Williams attended the My Week With Marilyn film premiere in Paris last night wearing a princess Pink silk gown designed by Monroe's favourite design house, Dior. The frock even had pretty bows and flowers all over it. To finish her Disney-esque look, Williams added a pair of modern day silver slippers.
The six-year-old inside of us is screaming with jealousy right now.

Miley Cyrus seems to hit the headlines more for the various controversial incidents that she gets herself involved in than she does for just being a pop star and actress.
There’s been pole dancing, that Vanity Fair photo shoot, the whole salvia smoking incident, and then at her 19th birthday party she was caught on camera saying, “You know you're a stoner when your friends make you a Bob Marley cake. You know you smoke way too much f**kin' weed.” Oh, dear!
“She can’t feel safe”
There’s one person who doesn’t think that Miley’s treatment in the press is at all fair, and that’s her gorgeous boyfriend and Last Song co-star Liam Hemsworth. In fact Liam has told Details magazine in a new interview that it’s “ridiculous” how Miley can’t feel safe even when she’s with friends.
“She's in a room full of her best friends, and you have one person who comes in there and videos it,” he says of the clip that eventually went viral. “The poor girl can't have one night where she can feel safe in her own world. It's ridiculous.”
“She makes me happy”
As well as defending Miley, Liam also revealed how happy he is with the former Hannah Montana star, confessing that he tried to resist getting in a relationship with her when they met on-set,
“What happened happened, and we've been together two and a half years. She makes me really happy,” says Liam. “When you start, you want to be professional, but when you're filming those scenes with someone and pretending to love them, you're not human if you don't feel something."
What do you think about Liam’s comments? Let us know below…

COMIC Russell Brand is getting over his divorce from Katy Perry the only way he knows how — by getting back in the saddle.
He was snapped dropping a pretty brunette back at her apartment after she stayed at his new LA pile overnight.
Russell, 36, who was renowned for his bed-hopping antics before his shock decision to tie the knot, gave the mystery girl a kiss before she skipped out of his car — wearing the same clothes from the night before.
The teetotal funnyman had enjoyed a date with her at The Largo Theatre, in Los Angeles at the weekend, before driving back to his place.
A source said: "Russell is a single man again and starting to move on from Katy.
"Like any bloke, he had missed female company. He isn't quite back to his old ways yet, but he's very much back in the saddle."
On Sunday Katy, 27, performed her new single Part Of Me at The Grammys. The song is a broadside at their failed marriage. It includes cutting lines like, "You chewed me up and spat me out. You can keep the diamond ring."
After the couple split, Russell moved into a £1.2million bachelor pad in Hollywood.
The couple were married for just 14 months before Russell filed for divorce last December.
RUSSELL Brand's ex Katy Perry is making a clean start — as the new face of a spot cream.
I Kissed a Girl singer Katy, 27, who was furious when Brand once posted a picture on Twitter of her with no make-up and blemishes on her face, has signed a reported £2.5million deal with Proactiv.
The £39.99 lotion is a favourite of celebs such as Elle Macpherson, Avril Lavigne and Justin Bieber.

Just take a look at this totally authentic public display of affection will you? Alex Reid and his fiancée Chantelle Houghton decided to casually lock lips this Valentine’s Day, and coincidently there were some photographers nearby to document them doing it. What a surprise that must have been for them.
The pair were seen smooching just as they were on their way to the ITV studios to talk about - yes that’s right you’ve guessed it - their impending bundle of joy.
Considering they’ve already done so much talking about the child nestling in Chantelle’s womb it’s a wonder they’ve got anything left to say on the subject. However somehow the two managed it; when asked on TV earlier whether their little girl would be growing up in the public eye Chants replied:
'I don't know but she's not taking her clothes off - she's not a glamour model.
'I've done that and I don't want my daughter to do that.'
The two were also quizzed about their marriage, but refused to say whether or not it will be filmed for their reality show. When asked if the ceremony would be televised Alex simply said ‘maybe’.
That’s a big fat yes then?

We speculated some time ago that new parents Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z would never sell pictures of their baby daughter. So when the couple decided to simply share pictures of Blue Ivy with their millions of fans on a newly created Tumblr page we were delighted, but not surprised.
Now a friend of Bey and Jay’s has revealed that Beyonce spent a great deal of time considering the best way to introduce her baby to the world,
“B really, really thought about this,” celebrity stylist June Ambrose tells Us Weekly. “She really wanted to do it this way. She just couldn't imagine selling pictures of her baby. It just felt really good to see her do it under her terms. It doesn't surprise me.”
“She’s a princess”
As for the new little bundle of joy, June says that Blue Ivy is, “A Princess, she's definitely very alert, you can see from the photos, you feel like she's been here before.
“She's always in a loving environment, and you can see that she's born into greatness. I think that's what those photos really say. She's a good baby!”
We think little Blue is super-cute, and we're very happy that her parents decided to show her off to everyone.

John Hurt has received this year's Bafta for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema. In a career which spans six decades, he has gone from an elephant man to a naked civil servant by way of an unfortunate spaceman dying one of Hollywood's most gruesome deaths.
But alongside his work in Hollywood fare including Indiana Jones and Hellboy, Hurt has continued to appear in British films, from smaller budget work such as 44 Inch Chest and the short film Sailcloth to bigger budget thrillers such as the multiple Bafta-nominated Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
During his career, he has twice been nominated for an Oscar. And prior to this latest recognition, he has also been in the running for seven Baftas, winning three times.
The Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema was introduced in 1978 and was presented to the special visual effects team on Superman. Last year it was given to the Harry Potter film series. Now this weekend, it will be Hurt's turn.
"I was doing Krapp's Last Tape in America," says Hurt in a room adjacent to the bar in Bafta's London headquarters. "And I got a message from my agent saying: 'Congratulations.'
"It really did strike me because the first time I got a Bafta, which was for The Naked Civil Servant, and I can remember somebody coming on and getting some kind of achievement and they seemed to be 105 and they talked," he pauses, "... forever."

“

I hope I won't appear to be 105 to those that were my age (in 1975)and secondly I'm not going to talk forever”
Hurt's first Bafta nomination came as the wrongly executed Timothy John Evans in 10 Rillington Place - based on a true story, where he played opposite Sir Richard Attenborough's murderous John Reginald Christie.
His work on the film was praised but it was four years later that the star - born in Chesterfield - won his first Bafta for playing the flamboyant role of writer, raconteur and gay icon Quentin Crisp from youth to middle age in The Naked Civil Servant.
Two more Bafta-winning roles followed. Hurt played Max, an inmate of a brutal Turkish prison, in Midnight Express in 1978, landing him his first Oscar nomination.
In 1980 he gave perhaps his best known international performance as Joseph Merrick - a man born with severe deformities who was exhibited in Victorian London as the Elephant Man.
Hurt, who performed under layers of make-up, was also nominated for an Oscar, but lost out to Robert De Niro for Raging Bull.
Two years later, one of the world's greatest actors, Sir Laurence Olivier, imparted some relevant words of wisdom to him.
"I remember Olivier, when I was playing the Fool in his King Lear, saying: 'When it comes to the obituary, they'll only ever mention three things, probably two, but if you're lucky three.' And of course when he died, they mentioned Richard III, Henry IV and either Marathon Man or Wuthering Heights.
"I mean, if you write your own obituary, I don't know, they'd take the things that got awards wouldn't they? So it would be Midnight Express, it would be Elephant Man and Naked Civil Servant probably."
And would Hurt be satisfied with the selection? "I won't be here, I'll be gone so it'll be entirely up to them," he chuckles.
Outside of the award-nominated film roles, Hurt's body of work spans genres and mediums.
In 1978, he died one of the most spectacularly bloody deaths in cinematic history as Kane, the doomed executive officer of the spaceship Nostromo in Ridley Scott's Alien.
The scene, during which a baby alien burst from Kane's chest cavity, passed into film lore when it was revealed Hurt's co-stars were only partially informed of what was to happen.
The resulting horrified looks on their faces are absolutely real and the scene made number four on Channel 4's 100 Greatest Scary Moments. Hurt even parodied the "chestburster" in Mel Brooks's comedy Spaceballs.
His breadth of work inevitably means not all of the films Hurt has starred in were box office hits, though he insists that some of those lower profile performances are among his favourites.
"I've done a few things like 1984, which when it came out was pretty well disregarded," he says. "But as time's gone on, it's become a kind of classic and there are many people who, if I get stopped in the street, it will be the first thing they mention.
"And then there's 44 Inch Chest, which people were suspicious about but I think it's a wonderful piece of writing.
He goes on: "I love things like The Proposition, I love things like The Hit, I loved Timothy Evans in 10 Rillington Place but it's very difficult to say what's more successful than something else."
Hurt took an interest in Lord Smith's report into the state of the UK film industry and accused Prime Minister David Cameron of "not quite understanding it" when he suggested funding should be directed towards "commercially viable" films.
"Nobody makes films for nobody to see them," says Hurt. "All the films we make here are part and parcel of the whole make-up of the film industry."
He suggests art house and experimental films "would be expected, certainly to make their budget back" but adds "out of that somebody will maybe take a idea and make something that is more successful. Everything feeds off each other".
He is now now 72 but, with several films currently in production, Hurt says he has no plans to retire. But has Hurt been so busy that he hasn't had time to prepare a Bafta speech?
"I'm sort of thinking about it, you always do," he says. "People tell you this and that, and you have to display some kind of cleverness in some way or another.
"But in the end it's kind of overwhelming because it's your peers who have given you this. That's important and, for once in my life, I've got to grow up and accept it graciously because I'm very moved."

"It really did strike me because the first time I got a Bafta, which was for The Naked Civil Servant, and I can remember somebody coming on and getting some kind of achievement and they seemed to be 105 and they talked," he pauses, "... forever."

Singer Adele was the big winner at the prestigious Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, winning six prizes including record, song and album of the year.
She also made her live comeback at the ceremony, performing for the first time since having throat surgery last year.
Rock band Foo Fighters won five prizes, while rapper Kanye West scooped four.
The event also saw heartfelt tributes to pop star Whitney Houston, who died on Saturday, while Amy Winehouse received a posthumous award.
Winehouse's parents accepted her prize for best pop duo/group performance for Body And Soul, her duet with Tony Bennett, which was the last recording Winehouse made before she died in July.
Adele won every award she was nominated for, including record of the year, song of the year and best short form music video for Rolling In The Deep. Her second album 21 was named album of the year.
She said: "This record is inspired by something that is really normal and everyone's been through it, just a rubbish relationship, and it's gone on to do things I can't tell you how I feel about it, it's been the most life-changing year."
And accepting the trophy for best pop solo performance for her song Someone Like You, she said: "Seeing as it's a vocal performance, I need to thank my doctors, I suppose, who brought my voice back."
The south London singer was forced to cancel all live dates last year, but earned a standing ovation after her return to the stage with Rolling in the Deep.
Her producer Paul Epworth, who also worked with Foster The People, Florence and the Machine and Cee Lo Green, was named best non-classical producer.
'Special record'
Foo Fighters' awards included best rock album, best rock song, best rock performance and best hard rock/metal performance.
"This is a great honour because this record was a special record for our band," frontman Dave Grohl told the crowd.
"Rather than go to the best studio, we made this one in my garage with some microphones and a tape machine. It shows that the human element of making music is what's most important."
Kanye West's solo album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy earned three awards, including best rap song and best rap album, while the track Otis, from Watch the Throne, his collaboration with Jay-Z, was named best rap performance.
That takes West's career Grammy total to 18 - but neither he nor Jay-Z were present to pick up their awards this year.
Bon Iver, fronted by US singer-songwriter Justin Vernon, were named best new act - five years after their acclaimed debut album was released. Their self-titled second LP also won best alternative album.
Other British victors included soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae, who scooped best R&B performance for Is This Love, and Sir Paul McCartney, whose deluxe reissue of Wings' Band On The Run was named best historial album.
US dance DJ Skrillex won three prizes, with double winners including folk duo The Civil Wars, country star Taylor Swift and gospel singer Kirk Franklin.
Chris Brown won the trophy for best R&B album for F.A.M.E., returning to the event for the first time since assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna before the 2009 ceremony.
He and Rihanna were both present this time. She was among the night's performers, taking to the stage with British band Coldplay.
Also playing live were Bruce Springsteen, Sir Paul McCartney, the Beach Boys and Kelly Clarkson.
Jennifer Hudson gave a rendition of Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You, while Alicia Keys and Bonnie Raitt sang a duet of A Sunday Kind of Love in tribute to Etta James, who died last month.

In case you haven’t been following the Cheryl Cole and MC Harvey saga we’ll give you a quick rundown of events…
Last month the So Solid rapper claimed he had had a brief relationship with the former X Factor judge shortly after her marriage to Ashley Cole ended.
In light of his allegations Cheryl’s immediate response was, ‘Are you smoking something?” and when it was clear that Harvey wasn’t backing down she decided to start legal proceeding against the magazine that printed his interview.
Well, this is where it gets interesting; Harvey has now shown a legal expert a whole bunch of emails that prove he was in relationship with Cheryl.
Tim Parish, legal advisor for Now magazine said in a statement:
“I was asked to verify the authenticity of the emails between Cheryl Cole and Michael Harvey as a proof of a relationship between the couple.
“The emails I was shown dated back to 2010 and were correspondence to and from Cheryl Cole and Michael Harvey and also between Michael Harvey and Cheryl's mother Joan Callaghan.
“The emails give details of her feelings about The X Factor, pictures she sent to Michael Harvey as well as personal conversations between the pair.
“I concluded that the messages were real, had not been doctored in any way and confirm he was in a romantic relationship with the sender.”
*GASPS*
But Cheryl’s still not giving in and earlier on today she Tweeted:
“I don't know when I became so naïve but even after 10 yrs in this industry I am still shocked that people will tell soul destroying lies to benefit themselves #sadbuttrue”

In the wake of MC Harvey’s claims that he had a secret relationship with Cheryl Cole, the singer has now kicked off legal proceedings against Now magazine who initially published the allegations.
During an interview with the publication MC Harvey made a series of claims about his personal relationship with the singer, which Cheryl later rebuked on Twitter.
Chezza’s rep released a statement regarding the case a short time ago, saying:
"Cheryl Cole has today commenced legal proceedings in London against the publishers of Now magazine as a result of its two articles about her alleged "secret romance" with Michael Harvey.
"Cheryl's lawyers have asked to see Mr Harvey's alleged e-mails which the magazine says are "proof" of the "romance" but it claims not to have them in its possession. Mr Harvey's claims are denied by Cheryl and she looks forward to seeing both him and the magazine in Court at the very earliest opportunity."
Harvey recently played-down his “romance” claims during a radio interview saying he’d simply had a “communication relationship” with Cheryl, which consisted of mostly email exchanges.
The editor of Now has seen these alleged correspondences and is still standing by his decision to publish the interview, and Harvey’s claims.

Singer offered a spot on The X Factor USA
KATY Perry is set for a massive career change – as an X Factor judge.
The singer has been offered a spot on the US show following the axing of ex Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and Eighties star Paula Abdul.
The firebrand US singer — currently divorcing Brit comic Russell Brand — has been handpicked by show boss Simon Cowell. Katy impressed as a guest judge on the UK show two years ago.
Simon said: "I worked with Katy once. I think she would be fun because she is hard — in a good way — and she's feisty."
Katy has also been linked with a slot on the UK version as Kelly Rowland looks unlikely to return.
A number of big names have been touted as US judges and Simon has admitted he would love to sign Madonna.
Despite being "expensive", Simon said: "She would be great, in terms of experience, success... brilliant."
However, speaking to his ex Terri Seymour on US TV, Simon ruled out moves for Mariah Carey and Sir Elton John.
He said: "I don't think Mariah would make that commitment. She's just had kids."
On a rumoured role for Elton, Simon said: "Absolutely not. He wouldn't do it and he'd be really difficult to work with."
Simon also insisted it was "nonsense" he had offered Beyonce $100million (£63million) to appear.

Hollywood heartthrob Zac Efron is rumoured to have taken Phil Collins' daughter Lily out for dinner at a top Los Angeles venue.
The pair were spotted coming out of steakhouse STK, with Zak suffering a rare moment of stage fright when confronted by awaiting photographers.
Lily was left standing on her own when the High School Musical star made a dash for the waiting SUV - a momentary lapse in chivalry that the media has been fairly quick to pounce on.
However, 22-year-old Collins kept her cool and maintained her poise as she carefully entered the vehicle behind the hasty Efron.
Actress Lily is likely to find herself in the spotlight more often over the coming year, having been selected to play Snow White in the upcoming adaptation of the popular fairy tale.
Mirror, Mirror: The Untold Adventures of Snow White, which will also star Julia Roberts, is not the first big screen outing by Collins.
She also co-starred alongside Taylor Lautner, of Twilight Saga fame, in his thriller Abduction. Lily reportedly dated the actor for a brief period after the film's release.
Efron famously dated co-star Vanessa Hudgens from High School Musical. They pair enjoyed four happy years as a couple, before splitting in 2010.

We thought we couldn’t be any more jealous of Blair Waldorf (or in fact Leighton Meester) but as these latest snaps from the set of Gossip Girl show we were wrong. Not content with a wardrobe resembling the designer floor at Selfridges she’s now living every little girls dream in this princess perfect outfit. With literally metres of swirling haute couture AND a Chanel jacket plus a diamond tiara probably worth more than our flat she’s definitely one of the prettiest princesses we’ve seen in a long time…watch out Kate Middleton.

We’ve been eyeing up her frocks on the Duchess of Cambridge for a while now but with a price tag that comes with a minimum of three zeroes Jenny Packham’s glamorous red carpet gowns have been somewhat out of our reach. Not any more! She’s the latest label to join the stable of other heavyweight fashionistas designing for Designers at Debenhams and Star Style popped along to the launch this morning for a sneak peek at the frocks and accessories. Our faves were the bow shoulder maxi dress which will retail for £135 and the twenties inspired shift which we can definitely see Kate snapping up. Brides- to- be and bridesmaids should also keep an eye out for the accessories which starting from £18 are a fraction of the cost of Jenny Packham’s mainline bridal jewellery and headpieces.
Jenny says: “My aim is to design styles that create glamour and excitement whether it be for the red carpet or a teenage prom. My collaboration with Debenhams is a great opportunity for me to offer my signature style at an attainable price.”
The collection hits stores in April with dresses from £85-£160. Take a look at our gallery for our picks from the range and our fave K-Middy Jenny Packham moments.

Not many of the CBB housemates had a good word to say about the Shannon twins once they’d been evicted from the BB house, and that’s probably why the girls didn’t attend the reunion party at Sugar Hut over the weekend.
Instead the Playboy Twins, who are still in Blighty, made do with having a party of their own; they headed in Landan to treat themselves to a so-called “fish pedicure”. However we were treated to a fishy surprise of our very own when one of the girls (to be honest we can’t really tell which is which) ended up showing off a bit more of herself than she’d intended to.

Kylie Minogue took to her Twitter last night to inform her fans that she had alerted police after being targeted by an online stalker.
The pintsized popstar wrote, “I love 1,033,861 of you LOVERS, but 1 is not a lover, just a deluded weirdo making threats #andthatdoesnotmakeyouspecial SO..police alerted.”
She was immediately inundated with messages of support from her followers to which she replied:
“LOVERS you know who you are! #LoversArmy”
We guess that means thank you.

The world of celebrity gossip can be a complicated and confusing place sometimes. Take the reports that Miley Cyrus has spoken out on Twitter to defend her LOL co-star Demi Moore.
Several sites claim that Miley wrote on the social networking website, “Everyone needs to leave Demi alone. She’s been through so much the past year. She doesn’t need the crap. How can you talk crap on someone you don’t know?”
These comments of course follow on from the recent events that have seen Demi seek hospital treatment for exhaustion after experiencing a seizure, and the fresh claims that the actress has now allegedly checked into a rehab centre in Utah (a story which has so far also been unconfirmed).
However, rep for Miley tells Gossipcop.com “there’s no truth” in these comments. So in other words, Miley hasn't commented about Demi at all.
All we do know at this time is that Demi – who has split from husband Ashton Kutcher over allegations that he cheated on her – really is having a terrible time of things right now.
“Demi's life is in compete crisis,” a source tells Us Weekly. “She has spiraled since her split from Ashton. She is turning 50 in November and has no idea who she is or what her life should be.”
Whatever the situation with Demi, we really hope she gets whatever help she needs.

Glamour girl heads out to the dentist in LA, looked a TAD over-dressed for the occasion
WE don't tend to get too dressed up for a trip to the dentist ourselves.
But Paris Hilton clearly wanted to impress hers, as she arrived for a dental check-up in Beverly Hills, LA looking more like she was going out clubbing.
The blonde star was seen strutting down the street in a black skater dress, cute Prada sunglasses, black suspender tights and a jacket with a silver bag.
Paris was also holding a yummy looking pink smoothie drink, which we're hoping isn't too bad for her nashers - considering where she'd just been.
[Also see: Amanda Holden: My life is now complete]
Anyways, looks like the IT girl wasn't just visiting the dentist on her trip out and about, as she was later spied with a armload of shopping bags.
Perhaps she was buying another outfit for a trip to the supermarket tomorrow?!

Carlos Leon, the father of Madonna's daughter, Lourdes, was seen this weekend strolling through the East Village with ex-"Real Housewives of New York" star Kelly Bensimon. But Kelly's friends say you shouldn't be surprised if you see the pair spending even more time together.
"They started out working on a project together but have since gotten very close," a friend of Kelly's tells me. "Kelly always says that if you are not married or engaged, you are single. So, technically she is still single, but we all know that they are together."
This wouldn't be the first time one of Madonna's exes has been linked to a reality-TV housewife. Baseball star Alex Rodriguez was seen stepping out with Bravo's Bethenny Frankel after he split with Madonna in 2009.
"We met seven months ago," Kelly tells me. "I'm casting him for the show 'I Can Make You Hot.' Have you met him? He's an amazing dancer and athlete."
Kelly declined to comment more on her professional or personal relationship with Carlos.

Back in Los Angeles after a work trip to Brazil, Ashton Kutcher will return to the set of "Two and a Half Men" on Tuesday. The sitcom actor has stayed silent when it comes to the hospitalization of his estranged wife, Demi Moore, but could his tacit tactics hurt his career?
"He was working in Brazil, shooting an ad campaign when the news broke that Demi had been hospitalized," a friend of the actor's tells me. "Maybe updating his Twitter account with a picture of himself, surfing the streets of Sao Paulo in the pouring rain, and not mentioning Demi at all wasn't the smartest move but ... they have separated. What was he supposed to do?"
Demi and Ashton announced they were divorcing in November after six years of marriage, shortly after reports of Ashton's alleged infidelity surfaced. Insiders say the resulting tabloid attention, coupled with his seemingly callous response to Demi's health crisis, could do long-term damage to his future in show business.
"It's simply insensitive for Ashton to be out partying while Demi is in the hospital," said Ronn Torossian, CEO of public relations firm 5WPR and author of "For Immediate Release." "Their public personas are so intermingled -- the images of them in love etched in our minds -- it's just completely unnecessary and won't score him any points at all."
However, not everyone agrees. Veteran publicist and manager Howard Bragman (who does not represent Ashton) tells me, "Ashton was not partying. Incorrect. Ashton is doing just fine."

She finally speaks.
Since Heidi Klum and Seal announced their separation, the supermodel has stayed mum while Seal has made numerous appearances, even sharing details about his failed marriage on "Ellen." But Klum has broken her silence.
"Hi everyone, I want to thank u for all your support & kind words.Really means so much. Thanks again...to the best fans in the world! xoHeidi," she tweeted Tuesday.
The typically verbose supermodel had previously fallen silent via the social networking site since announcing that she and her husband of seven years were separating. But the adage, "a picture is worth a thousand words," seems to hold true for the separated couple. Both Heidi and Seal have been photographed wearing their wedding rings since their heartbreaking announcement.
"While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul searching we have decided to separate," the couple's previous statement read. "We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children's sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy."
According to People, the couple's troubled marriage was further heightened during a December trip to Aspen -- a getaway that reportedly led them to finally pull the plug on their union.

The only thing worse than a wardrobe malfunction is a wardrobe malfunction... down there.
Celine Dion surprised audience members at a concert on Friday when she took to the stage in at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in a teeny gold Balmain minidress. The long-sleeve bodice of the dress stayed on, but the short hemline gave show goers sitting below a bit more than they bargained for, according to E! News.
Dion told Zappos Couture's "The Trend" that "normally when people are level the length [of the dress] is fine. But people were like this (looks up)... So it was like I didn't think of the people downstairs and me there."
Whoops. Luckily Celine's confidence wasn't shaken, as the 43-year-old mother of twins is used to braving the stage in barely-there dresses (even just five months after giving birth). She did, however, spend the rest of the Jamaican festival in longer frocks.

Actress Kristen Bell fought back tears on TV in America on Tuesday (31Jan12) when chat show host Ellen Degeneres fooled her into thinking she was about to meet a sloth.
The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star told DeGeneres all about a recent meltdown when fiance Dax Shepard hired a sloth for her birthday party.
She revealed she was so overcome with emotion at the thought of coming face to face with her favourite animal, she suffered a panic attack.
Bell even showed DeGeneres home video footage shot by Shepard of the moment she realised she'd be sharing her party with a sloth - she started sobbing uncontrollably out of sheer excitement.
And the actress almost repeated the emotional meltdown on TV after DeGeneres hinted she had "the cutest sloth" backstage.
Desperately trying to contain herself, stunned Bell said, "My heart is beating so fast," after DeGeneres pranked her.
She added, "Why would you do that...? Oh wow!"

"Details are important to me. The rugs, the lampshades, the jewelry, the one hair out of place. Little things like that drive me bonkers, if they're not just right," says the entertainer and first-time feature film director with a laugh.
Her penchant for perfectionism reveals itself promptly at the start of an interview in a swank Waldorf-Astoria room when symphonic notes begin clamoring out of hidden speakers. They're loud, discordant and distracting. And Madonna, looking around for the source, is miffed.
MORE: About that Madonna-Elton John feud
"We should turn the classical music off. It just came on. I'm sure there's a button somewhere," she says, as she surveys the ornate interior, where no such buttons are apparent. "This is apparently their suite, where they stayed."
The "they" in question are the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, also known as Prince Edward and Wallis Simpson. He was King Edward VIII of England when he fell in love with the married American socialite and ultimately abdicated the throne to be with her. Their odd yet resonant love story is the subject of Madonna's film directorial debut, W.E., in theaters Friday, which tells the parallel sagas of Simpson (Andrea Riseborough) and Wally (Abbie Cornish), a modern-day New Yorker frozen in a rigid marriage and obsessed with the Windsors. The title of the film refers to the couple's initials and their nickname for one another.
W.E. just earned an Oscar nod for costume design, and Madonna won a Golden Globe for best original song in January (much to the public displeasure of Elton John). The film aside, there's a lot of Madonna coming up.
She's performing at Sunday's Super Bowl halftime show. On March 24, her 14th studio album, MDNA, comes out on Interscope Records; the first single, Give Me All Your Luvin', is out on Friday.
"It's fun. It sounds different. It was nice to get away from the film and do something visceral and write songs and play the guitar," she says of the new release.
Expectations are high for MDNA, says Keith Caulfield, associate charts director at Billboard, and it's getting the most high-profile promotional platform on Sunday.
"She's headlining the Super Bowl halftime show. She has mass appeal," he says. "I suspect it's going to do well, but how well is still up in the air."
Between prepping for the show, promoting her film and working on her music, Madonna, 53, is raising her four kids, high school drama major Lourdes, 15, Rocco, 11, David and Mercy, both 5, in New York City. "A lot is happening. It wasn't planned that way but it turned out that way," she sums up.
In person, Madonna is crisp, thorough and businesslike, immaculately attired in a draped blue dress accessorized with fingerless leather Chanel gloves. There's no repartee. No pervasive need to be liked and no pretense of faux friendship. Just succinct, exacting answers, with tiny flashes of humor. On one of the things she has in common with Wallis Simpson: "She liked nice clothes, and I can relate to that."
Madonna the director sounds a lot like Madonna the person. "She is passionate, utterly prepared, tenacious, pragmatic, inspiring," says Riseborough. "Working with her was a wonderfully fulfilling experience."
That's because W.E. is truly Madonna's labor of love. She began researching the British royals when she lived in England with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie. She felt like an outsider in London, missing the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, for example, and she immersed herself in history to learn more about her new home. She started with Henry VIII and his six misbegotten wives, and read on through Wallis and Edward, whose story captivated her because of "the idea that someone in this very powerful position would give up the throne for love. I don't think that that happened very often, certainly not in the monarchies of England. I was very intrigued by that," she says.
And she had a clear vision for the two worlds she wanted to present onscreen.
"The great thing about Madonna is that she invites people to collaborate with her. She's not a micro-manager. She's very clear about direction but she's a true collaborator," says W.E. costume designer Arianne Phillips, who has known and worked with Madonna for 15 years. "She raises the bar because she has an aesthetic language that is uncompromised. We were creating this rarefied world of the duke and duchess, as well as the world of Park Avenue and Sotheby's and society New York. She knows those worlds."
Madonna immersed herself in Wallis Simpson's story, studying her mannerisms, style and diction with her typical attention to detail. In the film, Simpson emerges as a pragmatic, tragic figure, largely a victim of circumstance.
"When I first read about her, I thought she was clever and witty, and quite ambitious and calculating. And when I started to investigate and read, she seemed sort of like a trapped animal in many respects, quite fragile, in a lot of pain. She made the best of all her situations. She's been grossly misunderstood," she says.
Madonna had no intention of ever appearing onscreen, quipping that she looks nothing like Simpson. Films have beckoned to Madonna for years. Her forays into acting have been a mixed bag: duds like Swept Away and The Next Best Thing, as well as a charming turn in A League of Their Own and her Golden Globe-winning performance as Eva Peron in 1996's Evita. Since its debut in Venice last year, W.E. has divided critics and earned some unkind feedback, none of which Madonna says she's seen.
"I haven't read any of the reviews, so I don't know the nature of what people are saying specifically. I think yes, I'm gauged with a different measuring stick than an anonymous person would be. That goes with the territory," says Madonna. "The subject matter touches a nerve with people. I deal with relationships and I investigate the inner life of a woman, which isn't really dealt with in film very often."
Madonna co-wrote the screenplay, spending two years refining it. She connected to the dual stories of the protagonists, plus the cult of celebrity that surrounded Simpson.
"I see elements of myself in both of them. The girl who's dreaming about what it must feel like to be loved like that and having a bit of a naïve point of view," she says. "And then there's the Wallis Simpson character, who's dealt a series of challenging blows and has to deal with life and get on with it. She's quite practical about it. She says what she means and she means what she says and I can relate to that, for sure."
Given Madonna's romantic past, which includes marriages to Sean Penn and Ritchie, and relationships with Alex Rodriguez and her current one with a younger man, dancer Brahim Zaibat, what does Madonna think of the concept of all-encompassing love? Is it out there or a creation of Hollywood's romance machine?
"I think true love is really unconditional love. It's something one has to work towards. You have to come to an understanding that nobody's perfect. You have to learn to live with people's imperfections. You have to learn the art of negotiation. True love, it exists, but it doesn't exist in that fairy tale way," she says.
Madonna's life, she'll tell you, isn't quite as mythical and fabulous as you'd think. Because she's a single parent, Madonna says she's tough and often the bad cop with her kids. She works, a lot. Goes to the Kabbalah Centre. On rare mornings when she's feeling particularly self-indulgent, she'll hit the sack for a bit after her kids are out the door. On the weekends, she rides her horses in Long Island. And when she really wants to focus on her family, she puts away her BlackBerry, which is presently sitting on the table across from her.
"I have an office in my house, so I'm in my house and around my kids as much as possible. My work process is non-stop all day long," she says. "When I wake up in the morning, after the kids go to school, if I don't go back to sleep, I go to my office. I'm working until I have to leave. When I come back, I have dinner with my kids and put them to bed and then go back to my office."
Could Madonna imagine ever riding off into the proverbial sunset?
The question elicits an enigmatic smile.
"I fantasize about it, yeah. But I've never done it. Even if I say I'm going to take the day off, there's something hanging over me. I try to make periods of time for myself where I'm really not working and being with my family," she says. "And I fantasize when I pass my bed in the middle of the day and the sun is streaming through the window — I wonder what it would be like to lay on my bed in the middle of the day and watch a film and not feel any pressure."
Madonna grins, fleetingly. "I think I'll try it one day. I think I might like it."
