We all know Cheryl Cole has a major girl crush on Rihanna but now the Bajan singer has returned the compliment. Speaking to Esquire magazine, Rihanna revealed: 'Ooh! Cheryl Cole is...hot. I would just like to watch her work. Preferably cleaning things on the floor. Picking up stuff on the floor. Bending over.' Well, she certainly doesn’t mince her words, does she? She continued: 'She’s hot! I mean, literally...she’s so beautiful.' It’s not just her provocative words that will send pretty much everyone into frenzy; she also posed in a variety of raunchy outfits. A couple of weeks ago Cheryl admitted that she thought it was time people forgave Chris Brown and it looks like Riri is kind of on the same page: 'I thought people were gonna be surprised that we finally did a record together, but I didn’t see how people could think it was a bad thing, you know? 'In my mind, it was just music.' She then goes on to reveal that she is determined to settle down in five years time: 'Hopefully I’ll have a man by then. I’ve gotta start there, right? But how far I go [with my career] is God’s plan. 'I’m just following through my destiny. I don’t think it ever ends. It just evolves.' We all know the TOWIE lot abide by the ‘no carbs before Marbs’ rule but it seems one cast member, Lauren Goodger, has taken it a step further. The reality star tweeted a picture of her newly slimmed down body, accompanied by the caption: “Sweatinghell.” Putting aside her slightly annoying pout and the fact she is wearing a crop top we’re impressed by Lozza’s new body. Lauren has famously battled with her weight during her time on the show and after a holiday in Miami at the beginning of the year when some particularly unflattering pictures of her circulated, she vowed to shed some serious pounds. At the time she said: 'I want something quick because I'm going away again soon. I want to go to Marbella and Ibiza and when I'm walking around I want everyone to go, "My God, have you seen Lauren?" ' Well, it’s great advertisement for the Cambridge Weight Plan, the diet she has been following, isn’t it? We’re guessing she’ll be the face of it before long. Last night the final episode of this series of TOWIE aired and of course being Essex it wasn’t going to end quietly. James Argent and Gemma Collins finally revealed their true feelings for each other before enjoying a bit of a snog. The kiss marks the end of months of torment for Arg who has struggled to get over his break up with Lydia Bright. Meanwhile Lydia is seen enjoying a kiss with her new love interest Tom Kilbey. And if that wasn’t enough Joey Essex and Sam Faiers also had quite the full on snog after Joey gave Sam a love letter expressing how deep his feelings for her were. We’d just like to say at this point that we really weren’t sure about Sam’s white business-like suit she wore for the Jubilee themed party they all attended, and as for her hair extensions? Don’t even get us started on them. Anyway back to Gemma and Arg…during the evening Arg opened up about his past relations with Gemma. He revealed that during a trip to Marbella for boot camp the pair ended up in bed together and Gemma gave him a hand-job. How very delightful. Despite grinning like a bloody idiot while he told the story, he admitted he wasn’t sure how he felt: 'There is chemistry... basically she’s a pretty girl in the face, but we’ve both got pretty bad metabolisms.' Of course it wasn’t long until the news got back to Gemma about what Arg had been saying, so she decided to talk to him about it. It was during this conversation that Arg said: 'I think you’re amazing... you have a big bubbly personality like me.' And then came the kiss. What we want to know though is what the hell happened to Rami? Only a week ago she was raving about him and now it’s all about Arg. Do you think Gemma made the right decision kissing him? Do they have what it takes to go the distance? We don’t want to sound cynical or anything but they could make quite a bit of dough doing weight loss photo-shoots together and such like.

Well, it looks like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have got to that point in their relationship where they have a couples photo shoot and then share the pictures with their friends on Twitter and Facebook, you know that stage right? No? Oh yes that’s because it doesn’t bloody happen. Casually having pictures taken of you and your missus for no apparent reason other than to show off is just plain weird, particularly when you haven’t been together that long. A short while Kanye, who we all know is a bit of a maverick, uploaded a few pictures to Twitter. There are two of him and Kim in an intimate pose, with dark, sultry shadows and the other is just of Kim in a very low cut top. We had kind of thought Kim would have learnt her lesson about letting boyfriends photograph or film her but clearly not. That girl is a slut for the camera.

As is well documented now, Simon Cowell was pretty unsatisfied with the last series of the UK X Factor and criticised several elements of it, including Gary Barlow’s judging skills, which he labelled as “wooden.” Mind you, he couldn’t have found the singer’s talents on the programme too objectionable as he’s hired him to act as a judge again. The two had a face-to-face chat recently where they cleared the air over tension between them. Gary, who was spotted making his way to the BBC studios for an interview earlier, revealed: “I had a big review with Simon about the show and the acts. He never talks about what you say as a judge he’s always about the acts. "He says we’ve got to find more stars, we’ve got to develop them, we’ve got to look back at the tapes from last year and see if there are people we’ve missed. “It’s always about the talent. It’s the same reason I’m here for, finding talent, especially on X Factor where people walk from the streets and everyone gets a chance with us. “The idea that we can walk out and half an hour later this amazing talent walks onto the stage - that’s why I am here.” Gary also added that allowing people to do the show who have management deals will up the ante in the competition. “I think it will have a good effect because I’m expecting the level of talent to go up” he explained. “That means the people who do walk off the street and have to compete with that talent have to learn quickly.” Yeah, but is that really what X Factor is supposed to be “about”? Or are they just trying to keep up with The Voice now?

Being the dutiful reality star girlfriend that she is, Kim Kardashian offered her support to Kanye West in Cannes last night by exposing her ample cleavage to all and sundry. It was the premiere of Kanye’s new short art film Cruel Summer (we might give it a miss), and not only did she ensure the flick was talked about by turning up to the red carpet event with him she also wore a revealing gold mini dress paired with sexy boots. It’s the kind of touching level of loyalty and tenderness that we’ve come to expect from Kim Kardashian over the years; for her this red carpet appearance was more than just a photo opportunity, it was a gesture – a gesture of love.

Not since Street Fighter has a film starring Kylie Minogue been so well received by the critics in Cannes. Alright so nobody actually liked Street Fighter (did they?) but the critics were lapping up the pint sized singer’s new flick which is called Holy Motors. It’s all a tad cerebral sounding for our liking, but Kylie does do a little singing in it so that’s all that matters to us. The French film – which is a sci-fi fantasy about a man who travels between multiple parallel lives – managed to draw cheers, whoops and applause following its screening earlier which, as we all know, isn’t something critics do very readily. One newspaper said of the movie: "This is what we have all come to Cannes for.” Yeah, that and a cheeky holiday we’ll wager. Just think, around a year ago Tulisa was making baby steps on the red carpet at the X Factor auditions as a brand new judge. She was considered a fairly oddball choice back then fresh from N Dubz, pre-makeover, pre new-teeth, practically unknown. Since then she’s had a rollercoaster ride to fame and is now back for another series of the show as a judge (we actually can’t believe it’s been a year since then). And for her return to the programme – which today is being filmed in Liverpool – Tulisa opted for a summery, floral frock which she paired with a studded belt and red shoes. Stand in judge Geri Halliwell (who’s onboard just for the time being thankfully) went for something a tad more racy, and lacy. She had a backless blue number on with ankle boots. The question is, whose outfit do you prefer – Geri’s or Tulisa’s? Or are they both as horrendous as each others?

It’s been a bit of a will she/won’t she situation when it comes to Lady Gaga performing in Jakarta. Last week we told you she had been banned from performing at her sold out gig due to religious groups condemning her provocative outfits and raunchy dance routines. In fact she was even refused a permit, which would enable her to perform. Now we’re not so sure what’s going on because Gaga, who hasn’t really said anything about the issue, took to Twitter a short while ago to talk about it. She wrote: “The Jakarta situation is 2-fold: Indonesian authorities demand I censor the show & religious extremist separately, are threatening violence.
“If the show does go on as scheduled, I will perform the BTWBall alone.” So we think she’s saying that if she does perform, she will be doing it on her own, which would mean it would just her, no backing dancers etc and 52,000 people watching her. Might be a bit weird. Gaga doesn’t really seem too worried because she’s sure Beyonce has got her back, she continued on Twitter: “And don't worry, if I get thrown in jail in Manila, Beyonce will just bail me out. Sold out night 2 in the Philippines. I love it here!” Ok we’ll she’s covered for the Philippines, phew but what will happen about Indonesia? Do you think she would comprise with a stripped down version of the Born This Way Ball? She’s not normally one to do things by halves but we’ll see, it’s all about the fans for Gaga and they’d be the ones missing out here.

We don’t say many nice things about Paris Hilton, and we’re not about to start to, however we will give her this – the girl’s got stamina. Here she is arriving on the red carpet in Cannes (though why and what for is anyone’s guess) having jetted into France straight after a late night party in LA. Apparently the socialite had been with Lindsay Lohan and other great influences at a bash in the Hollywood Hills which was so loud that the police had to be called out to put a stop to it. We’ve already had a good old laugh at Lydia’s holiday snaps, you know the ones where she has a burnt bottie, and now she’s giving us reason to giggle again- she’s on a bloody camel. What is it with camels this week? Sacha Baron Cohen showed up in Cannes on one yesterday. Anyway what were we saying? Ok breathe; we know these are big names so we’ll take it slow. Last night the super famous gang headed to London restaurant Zuma for a bite to eat. Reality star Kim flew in yesterday to join Kanye West who is set to kick off his European tour with Jay Z on Friday. Rob, who as you know is Kim’s brother, is in the country with his maybe/maybe not girlfriend Rita Ora. And Rita Ora is signed to Jay Z’s label and management company.
It’s all very connected, isn’t it? Jay Z’s wife Beyonce is expected to be flying in soon to attend a party hosted by the mega rappers on Friday evening. It’s reported that Rihanna will be attending the lavish party as well. We don’t know if we can cope with that to be honest. There are far too many cool and ridiculously famous people in the UK right now, well minus Kim anyway.

The Snow White and the Huntsman star is seen as both a man and a woman in the stylish shots. We actually think she looks pretty good as a bloke, don’t you? One thing we’ll say about Kristen Stewart is that she really does scrub up well when she needs to. Last night was one of those occasions as she attended the world premiere of her latest film Snow White and The Huntsman. In fact she looked so glam last night that she gave her glamorous co-star Charlize Theron a run for her money. It looks like the girls co-ordinated their outfits last night as both of them wore sheer black gowns and oozed gothic sexiness. We wonder if they sat in front of the mirror asking who was the fairest one of all? Sorry we had to.
The ladies were joined by Chris Hemsworth (who plays the Huntsman) on the red, or in this case, green grass carpet. Models Liberty Ross and Lily Cole, who also star in the film, attended. Lily chose to wear the black version of the Alexander McQueen dress that Pippa Middleton famously wore as bridesmaid. For a celebrity, a baby is not just a joyous addition to the family – it’s also a photo opportunity. Jessica Simpson has decided to have some fancy pics taken of her firstborn as it means she can earn a cool $800k at the same time. She’s reportedly sold the first pictures of baby Maxwell to People magazine for that that hefty sum. The US publication are famed for shelling out massive amounts for the first images of celebrity’s babies; back in 2008 they shelled out $6million for a snap of Jennifer Lopez’s twins while they paid Brad and Angie $11million to picture Knox and Vivienne (the pair went on to donate their fee to charity we might add).
It’s rumoured that Jessica has also secured a lucrative deal with Weight Watchers to lose her baby weight and to be the company’s new spokesperson, plus she apparently intends to add a babywear collection to her already profitable fashion/accessories range. There’s even talk of her releasing Jessica Simpson branded nappy rash cream and nappies. Presumably when that’s done she’ll contemplate her next move for total world domination.

There are two things Imogen Thomas and Lauren Goodger both really like doing. Firstly they love talking about their ‘weight issues’ and secondly, they like having a good night out. Trouble is we all know alcohol is pretty calorific and if you want to loose weight, heavy drinking is a no-no. TOWIE star Lauren worked this one out a few weeks ago and has been dramatically shedding weight ever since. Last night she was joined at some party or other by Imogen Thomas who chose to be teetotal for the night too. We have to say both gals looked great last night and to be honest neither look like they need to lose any more weight. It’s not just stopping drinking that has helped them drop a few pounds. Imogen is now the face of Slimsticks, which she has been using for a while now.
Last night she tweeted: 'Ahh lovely night @ ninas opening! On way home now...no alcohol tonight! Bath tomorrow for @YourSlimsticks xxx' Lauren has also been using a slimming aid, the Cambridge Weight Plan, which she has also been doing for a few weeks now. She’s known for Tweeting some cray-cray things (Jesus, we can’t believed we just used the term cray-cray -we feel a bit dirty now), but this might just be the craziest thing Rihanna has Tweeted yet. After the Met Costume Gala the singer posted this picture of her arm (the sharp talon nails as seen on the red carpet the same evening confirm that) with an IV drip inserted in it. She shared the image after one of her followers Tweeted her saying: “you been quiet all day”.
A few hours later she posted another snap of herself by a plane saying she was heading back to LA, so we’re guessing there wasn't anything seriously wrong with her – but who the hell knows. This isn’t the first time that Rihanna has ended up with a drip in her arm and has shared a photo of it on Twitter; last November she had to cancel a gig in Sweden after she landed herself in hospital with severe exhaustion.

Oh dear it’s almost as if Jessie J is asking to be sacked, isn’t it? Yesterday we told you about how the singer had been winding up BBC executives by, amongst other things, calling the show ‘lame’. We’ve got a feeling that what she’s said in an interview with Company is going to be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. She said: "I wouldn’t enter [the show] myself in 20 years’ time." To be fair it’s really not that bad a comment, but we suppose she should really be backing the show any chance she gets, not making snide comments about it. Jessie then goes on to labour the point that the show is not the sole focus in her life: “I was first to sign up because I was totally up for it. But when Tom said he waited until he knew the line-up, I thought I should have, too. It’s been scary at times but it’s one thing in my life, not the only thing. My second album is my focus.” For goodness sake, think that to yourself in private, you don’t need to tell the world. You’re getting paid good money to pretend it is the only thing in your life. Jessie also took the time to address the little issue of her ‘look’, she said:
"When you’re first bringing out music and you want people to notice, you probably overdo it, especially as a girl. But I started looking at photos and thinking, “Jess, it’s too much – the outfits, the hair”. I became a bit of a cartoon. I just wanted to tone it down. Plus, nude lipstick doesn’t come off on your teeth. “The Mystic Meg hair was my comfort blanket. But as you start seeing pictures of yourself at every angle you realise it’s about taking risks if you want your style to evolve.” Well that’s a relief because honestly it was getting a bit hard watching her garish wardrobe on TV, especially when we have a hangover (which is most Saturdays). And finally she talks about her sexuality because let’s face it a Jessie J interview wouldn’t be the same without it. She said: “The bisexual label irritates me. They’d never write “Adele – the straight singer”, but that’s how the world works. The only thing I want to be defined by is my music and personality. Plus, at the moment I’m single. The Tinie rumours aren’t true!” Oh ok then, what a bloody kill joy.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute gala is probably our fave event of the whole year. The red carpet is a mouth-watering A-list celeb fest full of gorgeous and often outrageous gowns. It’s not really too surprising that two of the most famous women in the world, Rihanna and Beyonce, stood out as the best dressed of the evening with daring wardrobe choices. New mummy Bey slipped into an embellished number, with a long sheer train with purple ruffles, which kind of reminds us of something Moritica Adams would wear. The Givenchy Couture dress allowed for a cheeky bit of bum on display, further highlighting what incredible shape she’s in.
Also going for a gothic look was Rihanna who chose a slinky Tom Ford number embossed with crocodile print. Admittedly it sounds a little rank but with a sultry gaze Rihanna looked every inch a vampish goddess. Other guests in attendance included Jessica Biel (with Justin Timberlake on her arm), Cate Blanchett, Scarlett Johansson, Mick Jagger, Gisele, Renée Zellweger (who looked more like Kate Winslet than herself) , Gerard Butler, Cameron Diaz, Liv Tyler and Jessica Alba.

We can’t work out whether it’s because Michelle Pfeiffer looks ridiculously young or because Chloe Moretz looks obscenely old. Either way we can’t get over how similar these two look, they could be sisters for goodness sake. In Dark Shadows Michelle plays the matriarch of the family Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, while Chloe plays her rebellious daughter Carolyn. The film is an adaptation of the 60s soap opera of the same name about Barnabas Collins who is a rich and powerful playboy who breaks the heart of Angelique (played by Eva Green).
She turns him into a vampire and buries him alive, only for him to re-emerge two centuries later and move in with his cousin Elizabeth. Barnabas is played by Johnny Depp (of course, it is a Tim Burton film after all). The actor walked the red carpet at the premiere yesterday, along with Chloe, Michelle, Bella Heathcote, Eva Green and Johnny Lee Miller.

The scruffy but undeniably cool looking supermodel was seen heading for a shop in the beautiful Cotswalds village close to her second home as she enjoyed a restful break from work. Not that Mossy does (or indeed needs to) work much these days what with all those spare millions she has in the bank. Us, jealous?

We don’t know why Megan Fox has basically stripped off to advertise this gadgets website but… actually scrap that, we do know why – sex sells. That’s not the point, the point is she doesn’t look in the least big pregnant in the picture above despite the fact she’s rumoured to be up the duff with her first child, a subject which the usually very verbal actress has refused to comment on. In fact she got rather coy about it during a round of interviews to promote this sexy campaign.
She was being questioned by our very own hunky Steve Jones who said: “Do you know the ultimate gadget that every man wants? A baby." “A baby?” she responded. “Oh, I know where you're going with this" She’s a smart one that Megan Fox isn’t she? Anyway, Steve continued: “Any plans to give anybody a baby?” Then as Megan was saying: “You hear the grumbles. No, no,” her publicist cut the interview (on Entertainment Tonight) short. Isn’t it tedious when celebs just won’t give you a clear answer?

We wish Emma Watson had actually decided to ditch her prim and proper look in favour of Katie Price’s more ‘vibrant’ one. Unfortunately the actress was just in costume for her latest film, the Bling Ring, in which Emma is playing rebellious Nicki. The movie tells the story of a real-life group of teenagers who robbed the homes of celebs.
Anyway Emma who is clearly loving her un-Hermione Granger look, uploaded an image to Twitter, writing: “Twitterers meet Nicki, Nicki meet twitterers : )” Just like Katie Price, Emma is adorned with tats, wearing a pink tracksuit and Ugg boots. It’s classy stuff, it really is.

It’s getting hard to keep up with what the crazzzy singer is up to. One minute Rihanna is chilling on a beach, the next she is promoting a film and now she’s getting up close and personal with some strippers (and it’s not for a film role). A short while ago Rihanna uploaded a couple of pictures to Twitter letting us all know what she was up to last night. While most of us were probably sat in front of the TV, Riri was flashing the cash as a stripper flashed a bit of everything really. One image shows Rihanna dropping dollar bills onto a stripper as she bends backwards and someone does something naughty to her, accompanying it she wrote: “#ROCstars*** my daddy would be proud.”
Accompanying another image, where she is holding a mahoosive wad of notes as a striper gyrates against here, she wrote: “#RoleModelShit #NaviShit” It seems Rihanna’s trip to the strip joint was to relieve stress, she tweeted: “Best stress reliever= $tripper$. Kill it Tip it #Cake.” Most people have a cuppa when they are feeling stressed, but whatever floats your boat, eh Riri?

There’s sloppy seconds and there’s sloppy seconds and Russell Brand has clearly got the latter if he really is dating an ex of David Hasslehoff. The ex in question is Anouska de Georgiou, a former Playboy model who dated Baywatch actor David back in 2010. The Hoff isn’t the first famous face the Brit wannabe has dated, she’s also apparently been out with Lee Ryan (the one from Blue), Jared Leto (that’s pretty impressive) and Mick Hucknall (the ginger Simply Red singer). Russell, who has dated a couple of girls since his split from Katy Perry, was seen with Anouska at a charity fundraiser in Los Angeles on Sunday.
You may actually recognise his latest fling (other than from the pages of Playboy) as she had a bit part in the remake of Alfie (the one with Jude Law) and she took part in a reality show on channel four, called California Dreaming. The programme followed five Brits, one of whom was Jodi Albert, sharing a house in LA as they tried to crack Hollywood. Five years later she’s still trying, and has added singing as another string to her bow. Perhaps dating Russell will give her the career boost she needs, although we just can’t see a Playboy model, who dated David Hasslehoff, Mick Hucknall and Lee Ryan, making it as a serious actress. And here’s a fun fact: Anouska was a student at Marlborough College, two years above our lovely princess Kate Middleton.

Just last month Nicole Kidman was spotted with a mass of blonde hair walking around a quiet American suburb in sexy 1950’s housewife attire. This month however she has gone back in time a decade, has ditched the sexy attire and volumized blonde hair in favour of a frumpy outfit and drab brown hair, plus she’s relocated to Scotland. Confused?
Well then in that case we should explain that last month the actress was making a film with Zac Efron over in the States, whereas this month she’s shooting one - set in wartime Britain - with Colin Firth. She’s still the same old sexy Nicole just under a lot of bad hair, clothes and make-up.

It’s probably quite ironic that the woman who was actually voted FHM’s Sexiest Woman In The World (who, if you haven’t heard already by now, has been named as Tulisa) wore one of the least revealing and sexy frocks for the magazine’s celebratory launch party for the list whereas the women who didn’t make the top spot wore the most raunchy garments on the evening. Think that says something about sexiness doesn’t it? We’re talking particularly, of course, about Jessica Jane Clement whose white backless dress managed to leave a bit of side boob hanging out. Georgia Salpa (who was the highest new entry in the list at number five) had to muscle in on the action by wearing such a tight dress that her boobs were left practically touching her chin. Ex-Corrie star Helen Flanagan also oozed sex appeal as usual in a red bandage dress. While Tulisa was named number one in the FHM list, Cheryl Cole made number two (but didn't attend the launch bash) while Made In Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh, who attended the party with boyfriend Professor Green, climbed in at number 15.
