Singer Jennifer Lopez is one hot mama. The American Idol judge took time out of her busy schedule to relax with her kids and man. Dressed in a yellow bikini that quite frankly made her look ravishing and with her trademark hoop earrings, you wouldn’t have guessed she’s a fair bit older than her 25-year-old man Caspar Smart. It might also have something to do with her ridiculously good body. The singer is in Miami for the last two performance of her world tour with Enrique Iglesias. After that she’ll have plenty of time for more poolside bikini action because she recently announced she’s leaving American Idol to focus on her ‘film career’.

Rihanna herself is probably just as much in the dark about what she was up to last night – so let’s piece together the puzzle for her, so she doesn’t have to. Well, the singer and a friend went to Rose Club last night and she wore knee high snakeskin boots for the occassion. After the two left the venue, Rihanna and her pal then posed for the paps on a Vespa then promptly headed to someone’s house where they stayed until 6am. Ringing any bells Rihanna? No? Oh, you surprise us.

Well that didn’t last long at all, did it? Katy Perry has reportedly split from John Mayer after about five minutes. OK fine a couple months. One source said: "She is making it seem like it wasn't serious with John, but she is hurt." Oh come on, shse blatantly realised she could just fine someone less skanky. The 27-year-old singer and 34-year-old John were first reported as hooking up when they made an "affectionate" appearance together at Soho House in West Hollywood in June. At a Beverly Hills pool party earlier this month, a recently-divorced Katy and the notorious Lothario "were all over each other, making out." His exes include Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston. Meanwhile, Katy divorced Russell Brand earlier this year, and briefly dated Florence + the Machine rocker Robert Ackroyd in the spring.

We like to think we’re pretty clued up on all things celeb related, but Avril Lavigne’s relationship with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger seems to have passed us by completely (come to think of it – why wouldn’t it?) So, as you can imagine, like Avril Lavigne’s fans we were shocked when the star announced the news that she’s now engaged to the rocker, who she met six months ago while writing music with him for her upcoming album. A source has revealed: “A romantic relationship blossomed as they spent time writing together. He makes her so happy. Both of their families could not be more excited.” It’ll be both Avril and Chad’s second marriage; the Skater Boy songstress was wedded to Sum 41 star Deryck Whibley for four years until 2009 while her husband-to-be was married for six years until his divorce for his wife in May last year. Incidentally Chad was voted the ugliest man in rock back in 2002. That’s got no connection to do with anything really, we just thought you should know.

A short while ago we spotted TOWIE stars James Argent and Lauren Goodger taking a stroll in Essex. The Essex lad wasn’t perhaps looking his freshest, particularly not when standing next to the perfectly made up Lauren. We’ll let Arg off though because judging by his Twitter page, he’s really hanging today. He wrote: “Didn't get back home till 3am and up for filming at 7:30am! Spots are coming through on my face #Diags@JamesBennewithTurnout “Chilling out with bestie @MarkWright_ watching films! Miss my @missgemcollins Cant believe she's filming all day then away tonight #BadTimes” Aww poor Arg, at least he’s got Lauren and Mark to keep him company, word of advice though don’t see them at the same time. There’s no way they are at the ‘hanging out as friends’ stage yet. Meanwhile Jessica Wright and her mum we’re also seen out and about. We hope they were filming a scene with Lauren because hands down those are always our favourites.

Last week we told you that The Saturdays have headed to LA to film a new TV show. So far though it seems that they’ve been hanging out by a pool rather a lot, which we’re not entirely sure will make for thrilling viewing. Yesterday Una tweeted a pic of her baby girl Aoife hanging out in the sun with her ‘auntie’ Frankie Sandford, as you do. The newest member of the band seems to be having great fun hanging out with the gals and soaking up the LA vibes. Oh it’s been very hard work indeed.

Oh no, last night a range of GB’s finest acting talent went to a star-studded party in Manchester. When we say the finest acting talent we mean a few people from Coronation Street and Hollyoaks. These big names included Lucy Jo Hudson, Carolynn Poole, Jack P Sheppard, Bronagh Waugh, Paula Lane, Jenny Mcalpine, Catherine Tyldesley, Lisa George and Sarah Barand. Big.Names. They then left with their arms full of free gifts and happy smiles on their faces. And that’s that really.

Former TV presenter Gail Porter has checked herself into a rehab centre for three months in South Africa in a last attempt to beat her depression and addiction to alcohol. Speaking to The Sun, the 41-year-old said: 'I’m terrified. I’m scared to death. But I also think this is the happiest I’ve ever been. 'I think this is the best thing I could do to get me out of the state I’m in. The truth is I do think, "Someone, please look after me, if only for a minute." 'But if I felt stronger, then I would look after myself. Wanting to be stronger is one of my reasons for going into rehab in Cape Town. 'The truth is that I’m really upset and I need help. So I’m off to try to sort my head out.' Gail has suffered with depression and bipolar since she was a teenager. Last year she went to rehab after being sectioned after she accidently overdosed on painkillers. Now she firmly denies she was attempting suicide at the time, she said: 'I wouldn’t, in a million years, try to kill myself. I took an accidental overdose of painkillers, then called the doctors myself. 'I was very depressed, I was trying to sleep but I didn’t want to kill myself. That’s why I called the doctor and told him that I’d taken too many painkillers, and ended up in hospital.' Well, we certainly hope her latest trip to rehab will help her on the road to recovery.
