The 31-year-old was outraged when she found out her famous curves had been shrunk during the airbrushing of her body so told the clothing brand they could not use the pictures.
As Jay-Z’s wife and mother-of-one insisted they only use naturally posed pictures, an insider revealed: ‘When Beyoncé found out they had edited the way her body really looked, she hit the roof.
‘She’s a true diva and was furious that she had been given such a snubbing. Her people refused to give the pictures the green light so H&M were forced to use the originals,’ the source told The Sun.
H&M had allegedly discussed the photos and they confirmed the pictures were not altered in anyway.
It was decided that Bey would be the face of the retailer’s 2013 summer collection and she has since appeared in its bikini and beachwear ads worldwide.
Their spokesman added: ‘As with all campaigns there are discussions on which images should be used. Both H&M and Beyoncé are very happy with the final result.’

Will Smith and his son Jaden have baffled the minds of even the most mathematically astute in their latest joint interview.
The father/son duo (44 and 14) were discussing their upcoming space adventure, After Earth, when their chat turned to a confusing ‘multidimensional mathematics’ exploration.
‘I’m a student of patterns. At heart, I’m a physicist. I look at everything in my life as trying to find the single equation, the theory of everything,’ said Will during the interview with New York magazine when questioned about his rumoured involvement in Scientology.
He then tries to use his ‘pattern’ theory to reveal if he and Jaden would team up for a future big screen adventure.
‘If you were a student of the pattern, you’d have to say we were going to do another one,’ he said.
And then in an apparent snub to the rest of the world who obviously wouldn’t be able to understand the ‘pattern theory’ of which he speaks, Will said: ‘You know, the forum of media that we’re in can’t really handle the complexity of things that we say all the time.’
Perhaps sensing that mere mortals might struggle to grasp this revolutionary new way of thinking, Jaden attempted to clear things up.
‘I think that there is that special equation for everything, but I don’t think our mathematics have evolved enough for us to even – I think there’s, like, a whole new mathematics that we’d have to learn to get that equation,’ he said, with Will in agreement.
The 14-year-old then went on, saying: ‘It’s beyond mathematical. It’s, like, multidimensional mathematical, if you can sort of understand what I’m saying.’

Lucy Mecklenburgh got more than just a tan from her recent trip to Cannes; according to reports she caught the eye of a famous Hollywood producer while there and is now in the running to star in a film.
The TOWIE star was in the French Rivera to take part in a photoshoot, however managed to attract the attention of director Will Holman who’s currently casting for his horror film.
He invited Lucy to a formal meeting at a fancy Cannes hotel and now wants to fly her to LA to do an audition on camera. A source close to her revealed:
“She is keeping tight-lipped about it but apparently the director loves her look and thinks she is the perfect female for an important character in his film.
“He’s sending her the script and intends to fly her out to LA for an audition and to get her on tape. He says Lucy has exactly the look of the character that he imagined in his own head.”
She might be remaining tight-lipped about it publicly now but she has dropped a few not-so-subtle hints about the meeting via twitter. Last week she simply said:
“Wow sometimes dreams do come true #HappyGirl.”

Socialite Paris Hilton is set to marry her model lover of eight months some time “very soon.”
Paris, 32, and River Viiperi, 21, have been practically inseparable since meeting through pals and now the socialite thinks he could be “the one” and therefore wants to wed him.
Speaking in Cannes this week, where Paris has been hanging out with Cara Delevigne, the Hilton heiress said:
“It could happen soon… I trust him with my life and that means the world to me more than anything.”
What’s more Paris is keen to get little Rivers coming out of her birth canal fairly soon too (excuse the mixed waterways metaphors). She added:

Comedy actor and wildlife expert Bill Oddie – who shot to fame in cult comedy show, The Goodies – has taken to Twitter to ask his followers to help him decide whether he should accept the offer of becoming a housemate in the new series of Celebrity Big Brother.
Yesterday, he tweeted, “My agent just called – ‘Is Bill available to do Celebrity Big Brother?’
“Well, folks what do you think? (It’s a lot of money!)”
His fans then began replying, with the majority encouraging him to say yes. One wrote, “Please do it. You’d win hands down. You could ask for a hide in the BB gardenand teach the models/rappers about birds.”
Another wrote, “Go for it I would watch just to see a real human for once!”
And yet another added, “Once in a lifetime, and you could win it!”
It hasn’t as yet been revealed when Celebrity Big Brother will air, however it has been confirmed that the regular series – which will be hosted by Emma Willis as she’s taken over from Brian Dowling – will launch on Thursday, June 13.
