The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute gala is probably our fave event of the whole year. The red carpet is a mouth-watering A-list celeb fest full of gorgeous and often outrageous gowns. It’s not really too surprising that two of the most famous women in the world, Rihanna and Beyonce, stood out as the best dressed of the evening with daring wardrobe choices. New mummy Bey slipped into an embellished number, with a long sheer train with purple ruffles, which kind of reminds us of something Moritica Adams would wear. The Givenchy Couture dress allowed for a cheeky bit of bum on display, further highlighting what incredible shape she’s in.
Also going for a gothic look was Rihanna who chose a slinky Tom Ford number embossed with crocodile print. Admittedly it sounds a little rank but with a sultry gaze Rihanna looked every inch a vampish goddess. Other guests in attendance included Jessica Biel (with Justin Timberlake on her arm), Cate Blanchett, Scarlett Johansson, Mick Jagger, Gisele, Renée Zellweger (who looked more like Kate Winslet than herself) , Gerard Butler, Cameron Diaz, Liv Tyler and Jessica Alba.

We can’t work out whether it’s because Michelle Pfeiffer looks ridiculously young or because Chloe Moretz looks obscenely old. Either way we can’t get over how similar these two look, they could be sisters for goodness sake. In Dark Shadows Michelle plays the matriarch of the family Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, while Chloe plays her rebellious daughter Carolyn. The film is an adaptation of the 60s soap opera of the same name about Barnabas Collins who is a rich and powerful playboy who breaks the heart of Angelique (played by Eva Green).
She turns him into a vampire and buries him alive, only for him to re-emerge two centuries later and move in with his cousin Elizabeth. Barnabas is played by Johnny Depp (of course, it is a Tim Burton film after all). The actor walked the red carpet at the premiere yesterday, along with Chloe, Michelle, Bella Heathcote, Eva Green and Johnny Lee Miller.

We don’t know why Megan Fox has basically stripped off to advertise this gadgets website but… actually scrap that, we do know why – sex sells. That’s not the point, the point is she doesn’t look in the least big pregnant in the picture above despite the fact she’s rumoured to be up the duff with her first child, a subject which the usually very verbal actress has refused to comment on. In fact she got rather coy about it during a round of interviews to promote this sexy campaign.
She was being questioned by our very own hunky Steve Jones who said: “Do you know the ultimate gadget that every man wants? A baby." “A baby?” she responded. “Oh, I know where you're going with this" She’s a smart one that Megan Fox isn’t she? Anyway, Steve continued: “Any plans to give anybody a baby?” Then as Megan was saying: “You hear the grumbles. No, no,” her publicist cut the interview (on Entertainment Tonight) short. Isn’t it tedious when celebs just won’t give you a clear answer?

We wish Emma Watson had actually decided to ditch her prim and proper look in favour of Katie Price’s more ‘vibrant’ one. Unfortunately the actress was just in costume for her latest film, the Bling Ring, in which Emma is playing rebellious Nicki. The movie tells the story of a real-life group of teenagers who robbed the homes of celebs.
Anyway Emma who is clearly loving her un-Hermione Granger look, uploaded an image to Twitter, writing: “Twitterers meet Nicki, Nicki meet twitterers : )” Just like Katie Price, Emma is adorned with tats, wearing a pink tracksuit and Ugg boots. It’s classy stuff, it really is.

It’s getting hard to keep up with what the crazzzy singer is up to. One minute Rihanna is chilling on a beach, the next she is promoting a film and now she’s getting up close and personal with some strippers (and it’s not for a film role). A short while ago Rihanna uploaded a couple of pictures to Twitter letting us all know what she was up to last night. While most of us were probably sat in front of the TV, Riri was flashing the cash as a stripper flashed a bit of everything really. One image shows Rihanna dropping dollar bills onto a stripper as she bends backwards and someone does something naughty to her, accompanying it she wrote: “#ROCstars*** my daddy would be proud.”
Accompanying another image, where she is holding a mahoosive wad of notes as a striper gyrates against here, she wrote: “#RoleModelShit #NaviShit” It seems Rihanna’s trip to the strip joint was to relieve stress, she tweeted: “Best stress reliever= $tripper$. Kill it Tip it #Cake.” Most people have a cuppa when they are feeling stressed, but whatever floats your boat, eh Riri?

There’s sloppy seconds and there’s sloppy seconds and Russell Brand has clearly got the latter if he really is dating an ex of David Hasslehoff. The ex in question is Anouska de Georgiou, a former Playboy model who dated Baywatch actor David back in 2010. The Hoff isn’t the first famous face the Brit wannabe has dated, she’s also apparently been out with Lee Ryan (the one from Blue), Jared Leto (that’s pretty impressive) and Mick Hucknall (the ginger Simply Red singer). Russell, who has dated a couple of girls since his split from Katy Perry, was seen with Anouska at a charity fundraiser in Los Angeles on Sunday.
You may actually recognise his latest fling (other than from the pages of Playboy) as she had a bit part in the remake of Alfie (the one with Jude Law) and she took part in a reality show on channel four, called California Dreaming. The programme followed five Brits, one of whom was Jodi Albert, sharing a house in LA as they tried to crack Hollywood. Five years later she’s still trying, and has added singing as another string to her bow. Perhaps dating Russell will give her the career boost she needs, although we just can’t see a Playboy model, who dated David Hasslehoff, Mick Hucknall and Lee Ryan, making it as a serious actress. And here’s a fun fact: Anouska was a student at Marlborough College, two years above our lovely princess Kate Middleton.

Just last month Nicole Kidman was spotted with a mass of blonde hair walking around a quiet American suburb in sexy 1950’s housewife attire. This month however she has gone back in time a decade, has ditched the sexy attire and volumized blonde hair in favour of a frumpy outfit and drab brown hair, plus she’s relocated to Scotland. Confused?
Well then in that case we should explain that last month the actress was making a film with Zac Efron over in the States, whereas this month she’s shooting one - set in wartime Britain - with Colin Firth. She’s still the same old sexy Nicole just under a lot of bad hair, clothes and make-up.

It’s probably quite ironic that the woman who was actually voted FHM’s Sexiest Woman In The World (who, if you haven’t heard already by now, has been named as Tulisa) wore one of the least revealing and sexy frocks for the magazine’s celebratory launch party for the list whereas the women who didn’t make the top spot wore the most raunchy garments on the evening. Think that says something about sexiness doesn’t it? We’re talking particularly, of course, about Jessica Jane Clement whose white backless dress managed to leave a bit of side boob hanging out. Georgia Salpa (who was the highest new entry in the list at number five) had to muscle in on the action by wearing such a tight dress that her boobs were left practically touching her chin. Ex-Corrie star Helen Flanagan also oozed sex appeal as usual in a red bandage dress. While Tulisa was named number one in the FHM list, Cheryl Cole made number two (but didn't attend the launch bash) while Made In Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh, who attended the party with boyfriend Professor Green, climbed in at number 15.
