Selena arrived at the awards by herself dressed in a cropped top, which seemed to be a theme of the evening (Katy Perry was also wearing one).

Now we all know Selena is dating Justin, so where was he and why were they not sitting together?

Well, the Biebs was staying hidden so he could make a special surprise appearance at the end of the show. This kid can’t get enough of pranks, can he?

When it was announced he had won Favourite Male Singer (surprise, surprise) his mates Jaden and Willow Smith went up on stage to accept it for him.

At this point JB appears from the crowd and goes to accept the award. Oh you tease.

Justin, who was wearing a ‘delightful’ white leather jacket, got slimed on stage, probably to the delight of many people there. And after all that slimeing Selena was very wise to go nowhere the singer, which means unfortunately or fortunately we’ve got no pictures of the pair together.
